Eye shadows were called "shadows" and not "eye colors" for a reason. Eye shadows are meant to enhance the eye by pulling out its natural color and beauty. The shading of color will also help, among other things, to minimize a deep-set eye, maximize a small eye, give definition to a flat eye and flatten a protruding eye. Where you place the highlighter and shadow are key to making the most of the eye shape.
Ideally, the space between the lash line and crease (the lid) should be half of the space between the crease and the brow bone. (In other words, the width of two lids between crease and arch.) The technique for shading this shaped eye is as follows:
If you are dealing with an oily lid, smooth our Lid Primer over the entire eye area first. Then, with the Eye Shader brush smooth the highlighter color all over eye from lash line to brow. Pay special attention to the corner of the eye and don't take highlighter beyond the C line.
