Pomegranate extract is a potent natural antioxidant containing ellagic acid, which
protects skin cells from the gaining effects of free radical damage. It boosts sunscreen
protection and acts as a natural preservative. Pine bark extract consists of 85% - 95%
proathocyanidins and flavonoids extracted from the French Maritime pine tree park. As
a potent free radical scavenger and preservative, it has the antioxidant capabilities 50
times more than vitamin E and 20 times more than vitamin C. Because its molecular
structure is much smaller than vitamins E and C, it penetrates more readily through the
epidermis to the dermis.
